The case of the Ball NM1080C-L13-BK is made of stainless steel and is complemented by a leather strap. Inside this case, the Ball RR1102 Swiss mechanical automatic movement (based on the ETA 2824 or Sellita SW200) operates at a frequency of 28,800 semi-frequencies per hour. At the traditional position 3 we then find the date and day of the week display .

Thanks to the A-Proof® system and the Mu-metal case (second inner case between the case and the movement), this model is highly resistant to magnetic fields up to 80,000 A/m. It is also resistant to an impact of 5000 Gs, which is equivalent to dropping the watch from up to one metre without damaging the movement.

The perfectly clear dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, which is extremely scratch-resistant. An anti-reflective coating provides excellent legibility even in direct sunlight. Readability in the dark is ensured by the H3 tritium luminescent tubes on the hands and indexes. These ensure reliable luminosity regardless of previous illumination, unlike the classic luminescent coating. The water resistance of this watch is 100m and is supported by a screw-down crown, so it can easily handle swimming, for example.
